Free talks for organisations, groups, and communities
Whether you are a yoga studio, book club, women’s group, men’s group, LGBTQIA group, community organisations or a wellbeing circle, if you’ve gathered a group of people who are looking for something worth turning up for, we’d love to be there.
We offer honest conversations about the things people are actually going through: burnout, stress, and the emotional weight we all carry both into and out of the workplace.
We come to you – either in person or online – for 45 to 60 minutes. There is no cost, no commitment beyond the time we spend together, and absolutely no sales pitch.
How it works
1. You enquire. Tell us a little about your team and what they’re dealing with right now.
2. We agree on a topic and date. Within two working days. We’ll suggest the talk most likely to land, or build something around what you tell us.
3. We turn up and deliver. In person or online. 45 to 60 minutes. You don’t have to do anything except set up the room.
Who delivers the sessions
Steve Roche spent fifteen years as an original director of Kooth plc, the LSE-listed digital mental health provider used by the NHS, local authorities, and major UK employers. He is the co-author of Rebecoming and is co-founder of Head, Heart & Soul.
Cilla Hall is co-founder of Head, Heart & Soul, co-author of Rebecoming, and has been working with individuals and groups on emotional patterns and behavioural change for over a decade.

The Sessions

Choose a topic from the list below, or tell us what your team is dealing with right now, and we’ll tailor a session to fit. Every talk is designed to stand on its own. No prior work or follow-up required.
Why You Feel Stuck. For teams that have tried the wellbeing app, the resilience workshop, and the mindfulness webinar and are still running on empty. An honest look at why capable, intelligent people stay stuck in the same patterns and what it actually takes to move.
The Weight You Are Carrying: For organisations coming out of a hard year. Restructure, loss, burnout, and change fatigue. Emotional weight does not disappear because the calendar moved on. This session is about what people are still carrying, and what it costs them at work and at home.
Energy, Boundaries, and Running on Empty: For high-performing teams where everyone is fine and no one is fine. A practical look at where energy actually goes during a working week and why “self-care” advice keeps missing the mark.
Coming Back to Yourself: For senior people in particular. The version of you that performs, manages, and delivers is not the whole of you, and the gap between the two comes at a cost. An honest conversation about the part of yourself that gets left at the office door, and why bringing it back is a performance question, not a soft one.
Something bespoke: If your people are dealing with something specific, such as a merger, a loss, a difficult restructure, or a particular team struggling, we will build a session around it. Tell us what is going on, and we will tell you whether we can help.
Common questions
Will you try to sell to us during the session? No. We do not pitch, do not collect contact details on the day, and do not email your staff afterwards. If individuals want to know more about our paid work after hearing us, we will tell them how to find it on our website. That is the extent of it.
What happens if someone in the room becomes upset? We are experienced facilitators, and we hold the room well. The sessions are deliberately not therapy, and we do not push people. If someone is visibly affected, we handle it quietly and follow up with you afterwards if helpful. We are professionally indemnity insured.
Are you therapists or counsellors? No, and we are explicit about that. Our work is practical guidance and group conversation, not clinical treatment. If anyone in the room needs clinical support, we will say so and signpost appropriately.
How do we book? Use the enquiry form below. We will reply within two working days, suggest a topic, agree a date and format, and confirm in writing. That is the whole process.
