“We have been where you are. Now we help others find their way.”
Steve Roche
Founder, Head, Heart & Soul and co-author of Rebecoming

Professional Profile & Story of Rebecoming
Steve’s first entry into the field of emotional well-being was as one of the original directors of Kooth, the UK’s leading digital mental health services provider. The multiple-award company pioneered online counselling back in 2004 and listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2020. Steve is also one of the country’s most experienced business plan writers and startup consultants.
Beyond business, he co-founded a pioneering school-within-a-school in 2013. As a volunteer, Steve led one of the UK’s largest grassroots football clubs, is a two-time President of West London Speakers and is a former Area Director of Toastmasters International. He has written several books, including The MultipleMind Method and The Power of Masterminding, alongside co-authoring Rebecoming.

Steve was a quiet, sensitive child who felt he didn’t belong – too shy to join in, convinced he wasn’t good enough.
As an adult, he reached a point where something finally shifted. Years of buried emotions surfaced, demanding to be felt. Through ancient practices and deep inner work, he transformed his overwhelming sensitivity from curse to gift.
He discovered the real self waiting patiently underneath all the pain, protection, and masks.
Cilla Hall
Founder, Head, Heart & Soul and co-author of Rebecoming

Professional Profile & Story of Rebecoming
Cilla’s career spans property management, recruitment, HR, administration, and interior design. As a qualified life coach, she combines business skills with a deep understanding of human potential. Her creative talents led her to run a successful personalised gifts and greetings cards business.
In 2013, Cilla co-founded Wellspring Academy, an innovative school programme giving struggling students a fresh start. She’s the author of the Little Book of Choices.

Cilla grew up as the strong one, always caring for others while neglecting herself. Bullied at school with no emotional support at home, she became an expert people-pleaser – helpful, always putting herself last. She thought being needed meant being loved.
Her transformation began in 2012, but fear kept her running. One step forward, two back. Every excuse to avoid the deep work. Yet each small step revealed another way of being. Eventually, she crossed an invisible line – she didn’t want to be her old self anymore.
The journey was long, exhausting, and messy. But Cilla discovered that growth happens in the challenges, not the comfortable moments. Most importantly, she learned that putting yourself first is not selfish – when you heal yourself, it ripples out to everyone around you.
Creating Head, Heart & Soul
The seeds of Head, Heart & Soul were planted back in 2014, but the company did not launch for over a decade – and there is a good reason for that. We simply were not ready, even though we thought we were. Looking back, we had only just begun to learn what we needed to learn.
It started with a simple idea: teaching emotional skills to young people in the school programme we co-founded the year before. Then we thought about doing the same for adults. But something was missing.
Only after doing our own inner work did the real purpose become clear. We’ discovered something important – most of us lose touch with who we really are. Life knocks us around, we develop coping mechanisms, and gradually become someone we think we need to be rather than who we actually are.
Through our own experiences, we learned what actually helps people get back to themselves:
- Taking responsibility for your life instead of blaming circumstances
- Dealing with past hurts that keep you stuck
- Looking after yourself properly without feeling guilty
- Building real relationships instead of protective walls
- Stop living by everyone else’s rules
- Sorting out your relationship with money and work
- Finding balance in all areas of life
Head, Heart & Soul grew from these discoveries. We blend timeless wisdom with practical tools, creating a bridge between the life you think you have to live and the one that is truly yours.
Everything we offer comes from walking this path ourselves. We have navigated the messy middle of transformation, felt the confusion of letting go, and emerged knowing that the real self we had been seeking had been there all along – patient, whole, and ready to emerge.
Our Philosophy
We are not gurus. We are just people who have been where you are and found a way through.
We don’t fix people because there is nothing wrong with you. You have just picked up habits and beliefs that no longer serve you. Our job is to help you see what is already working and build from there.
We create a safe space for the difficult conversations. For working through what is hard. For trying new ways of being. For figuring out what you actually want versus what you think you should want.
We know the cost of staying in a life that does not fit. Of achieving everything you are supposed to want and still feeling empty. Of pretending everything’s fine when it is not. We also know how it feels when you finally stop pretending and start living.
Most importantly: We’ve done the work ourselves.
Our Approach
Practical Wisdom: We blend ancient teachings with modern understanding, creating tools that work in real life, not just in theory.
Lived Experience: Everything we teach, we have lived. Every challenge you face, we have faced. This is not academic – it is personal.
No Bypassing: We do not promise easy. Transformation is the hardest thing you will ever do. We promise it is worth it.
Sustainable Change: Quick fixes do not last. We focus on deep, lasting transformation that changes how you live, not just how you think.
Our Invitation
If you are reading this, some part of you recognises some part of us. That recognition is the beginning – your real self saying “yes” before your mind knows why.
We ca not promise your journey will be easy. We can not promise it will look like ours. But we can promise this: if you show up, if you do the work, if you stay when everything in you wants to run – you will meet yourself. The real you. The one who has been waiting your whole life.
And that meeting? That is worth everything.
